Project 23 client Graham Ellicott stormed to a Top 15 finish at the 2024 Triathlon World Championship in Torremolinos, Spain, back in October.

After months of preparation at Project 23 in Leamington Spa, Graham competed in the Aqua Biking World Championship – an event focusing on swimming and cycling endurance.

After winning a UK qualifying competition for the World Championship event, Graham headed to Spain in October with ambitions on proving he could mix it with the world’s best in the Triathlon-affiliated discipline.

Graham prepared vigorously at Project 23 utilising its state-of-the-art equipment and world class fitness knowhow on a regular basis. This allowed him to put into practice everything he learnt at Project 23 in his preparations for the gruelling endurance event. On average, Graham trained 14 times per week split across the gym, the swimming pool and the bike. This was all while working a full time job and his father duties to his two young daughters.

He finished the race (an 1.5km swim and a 40km cycle) in a time of 1 hour, 44 minutes, Graham eventually crossed the line in a fantastic fifteenth place.

Project 23 is very proud of his achievements and cannot wait to continue its work with Graham on his next goal. He has already won the qualifier for next year’s race so here’s to doing even better next time!
