Project 23 client Jim Morris has set his sights on the very top as he gears up for the world-famous 2026 Pikes Peak Hill Climb and taking on a world record attempt.
The Pikes Peak Hill Climb is a legendary event in motorsport in Colorado, USA, known for its daring twists and turns and jaw-dropping cliff edges, where man and machine are pushed to the very limit.
Jim will be taking on the challenge in a modified Volkswagen Golf, front wheel drive car, where he aims to break the world record time for a vehicle of that type.
At Project 23, the team and Jim have been working on building up fitness and strength to combat the demands of the 156-turn, 12-mile climb, which stands at over 14,000ft. Due to the extreme heights of the race, the car will be modified with oxygen tanks for the driver.
In addition, reaction times and being sharp at the wheel can be the difference between life or death, such are the dangers of this legendary event and Jim has been pushing his limits at Project 23.
